Hilda Roxie Bryant passed away Thursday.

She was born Dec. 4, 1953, in LaGrange, (Troup County) Georgia, to the late John Henry and Lula Lay Gates.

She united with Roe’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was educated in the Troup County School System and employed by Callaway Gardens.

She is survived by her aunt, Mrs. Carrie Harris; nephew, Kevis D. Gates; three sisters-in-law, Mattie Pruitt, Carolyn Scott, Ruby Brant; two brothers-in-law, Johnny Bryant and Luther Parks; cousins, Erica Foster and Vanessa Camron; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Roe’s Chapel U M Church. The excellent care of Mrs. Bryant is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
