Mr. Bobby Herlin Cofield, 69, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center, Columbus, Georgia.

Mr. Cofield was born Feb. 25, 1949, in LaGrange,, son of the late Robert Coolidge Cofield and Ora V. Beam Cofield.  He was a member of Living Waters Baptist Church and was self-employed as a construction worker.  Mr. Cofield loved his church family and was an avid lover of raccoon hunting.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Neighbors and a brother, Tommy Cofield.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Cofield; daughters, Renee Pye, Rebekah (Jim) Butler, Rhonda Cofield, and Robin (Aldo) Martinez; son, Cody Cofield; sisters, Diane (Frank) Cotton and Deborah (Kimble) Carter; brothers, Randy Cofield, Marshall (Cindy) Cofield, and Chris (Kathy) Cofield; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

The celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Living Waters Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Clinard, the Rev. Tommy McLeroy and the Rev. Woody Woodard officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.  The gathering of family and friends will be on Friday, June 15, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
