Mrs. Marion Elaine O’Neal,  81, of Roanoke Alabama and a former resident of LaGrange passed away Sunday afternoon surround by her family at Roanoke Health Care. 

Mrs. O’Neal was born May 31, 1937, the daughter of the late Willard M. and Jessie Knight King. She was a former CNA at Royal Elaine Nursing Home, Kex Plant of Milliken and Dixie Plant of West Point Pepperell.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Willard O’Neal, Son: Donnie Hornsby, Sisters: Janice Lowe and Myrna Banks.

Survivors include her daughter: Anita Hornsby of Roanoke, Alabama; son, Glenn Hornsby; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; brother, Mike King of LaGrange; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marion Elaine O’Neal will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon from the chapel of the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home with the Rev. Bryan Geter officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Interment will follow on the O’Neal family plot in Hillview Annex Cemetery.
