Mr. Benjamin “Ben” Franklin Crockett

Mr. Benjamin “Ben” Franklin Crockett, 70, of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018, at his home.

Mr. Crockett was born April 25, 1948, in Glenn, Georgia, to the late James Henry Crockett and Laura Barrett Crockett. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Crockett was a member of First United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Shriners. He was the owner and operator of Crockett Brothers Towing. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Brannan Crockett and Stewart Crockett.

Survivors include his son, Joseph Brannon (Angie) Crockett; daughter, Brandi Melissa Crockett; and their mother, Becky Crockett; grandchildren, Chloe Crockett, Boone Crockett and Ellie Crockett; brothers, Mike (Kim) Crockett and Ronny (Shirley) Crockett; sisters, Betty Jean (Larry) Houze, Brenda (Jerry) Conley and Alice (Virgil) Veal; fiancé, Jewell Thornton and her children, Tiffany (Eric) Dunkelberg, Taylor (Erica) Thornton, and Travis (Christy) Thornton; and her grandchildren, Bryce and Cade Dunkelberg, Lily and Gunner Thornton; very special friend, Pam Barnes; other relatives and friends.

The celebration of life service will be noon Saturday, June 23, 2018, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Blake Trent officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
