Annie Clyde Heard Rogers passed away Friday.

She was born May 4, 1943, to the late Rev. and Mrs. Frank and Lela Heard in Troup County, Georgia.

She united with Valley Grove Baptist Church; and graduated from Ethel W. Kight High School, class of 1961.

Survivors include one daughter, Shannon Rogers; sister, Frankie (Charlie) Daniel, Lawrenceville, Georgia; brother, Willie A. Heard, LaGrange, Georgia; Grady Lee, Atlanta, Georgia; aunt, Ruby Wilkins, Ypsilanti, Michigan; one sister-in-law, Doretha Heard, Tuskegee, Alabama; special nieces and caregivers, special friend, and a host of relatives and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church. The excellent care of Mrs. Rogers is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
