William B. Johnston, 76, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on June 28, 2018. Bill had a short battle with pancreatic cancer, having been diagnosed only three months ago.

Bill worked at District IV Public Health, managing two programs in a 10 county area. The first was Community Care Service Program (CCSP), helping to keep people in their own home rather than having Nursing Home Care and the last program he managed was Children’s  Medical Service, helping children with disabilities.

Per his wishes, his body was cremated. A celebration of life will be held on July 15, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Carrollton Arts Center, 251 Alabama St., Carrollton, Georgia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Tanner Hospice, 150 Henry Burson Dr., Suite 102, Carrollton, Georgia. 30117, or to a charity of your choice.
