Mr. James David “Jimmy” Ruiz, age 47, of LaGrange, passed away on July 8, 2018, at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.  

Mr. Ruiz was born on April 14, 1971, in LaGrange to Robert Patterson and Martha Sutton Cooley. His father preceded him in death.  

He was self-employed as the owner of Snap On Automotive. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lynn Bradley Ruiz; daughters, Mandy Kay Ruiz (Matthew Porritt) and Emily Dianne Ruiz; brother, Joseph Sutton; sister, Renee Lane; grandson, Gavin Lee Porritt; mother in law, Kay Phillips; extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with interment to follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service hour at the funeral home.
