Mr. Phillip Roy Holder, Sr., age 69, of Greenville, passed away on July 9, 2018, at the Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mr. Holder was born on July 23, 1948, in Griffin, Georgia to the late Augusta Roy Holder and Willie Eloise Dix Smith.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from the Public Works Department for the City of Fairburn. 

Survivors include his wife, June Alene Cowart Holder; children, Mary Alene Richardson (John), Andrea Dawn King (Billy) and Phillip Roy “P.J.” Holder, Jr.; siblings, Tina, Jackie, Debbie, Billie Jo, Ricky Lee and Bobby Joe; grandchildren, Christopher Norman, Andrew King, Ethan Phillip King and Faith King; step-grandchildren, Tonya King, Derek King and Karmen King; step great grandchildren, Rylan, Grant, Brianna, Harlie, Ava and Alyssa; and extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church with Dr. Donald Yancey officiating.  Interment will follow at Meadoway Gardens.

Family will receive friends on Thursday at the church from 11 a.m. until service hour.
