Margie Moon, age 82, of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Margie was born April 12, 1936, in LaGrange, Georgia. She was born to the late Lester Hewett and Linda Lee Messer Hewett.

Margie is survived by; brother, Gene Hewett, James L. Hewett and Franklin “Shorty” Hewett; companion, James Russell; four nephews and one niece; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The gathering of family and friends for Margie will be held Friday, July 13, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.

A celebration of life service will be Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 10 a.m. there in Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Cade Farris officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
