Jerry Henry Traylor, 82, of LaGrange, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 13, 2018.

Mr. Traylor was born Dec. 26, 1935, in Bowden, Georgia, to the late Reubin Noah Traylor and Julia Elizabeth Traylor. Mr. Traylor served his nation honorably as a sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War. He spent the rest of his working career as a business owner and consultant in the textile industry specializing in the manufacturing of carpet.

Mr. Traylor was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Margie Weldon Traylor. He is survived by  his daughter, Jerri Ann Traylor and Clinton Hammond; granddaughter, Sabrina (Freddie) Cone; grandchildren, Caitlyn (Ross) Snyder and Carsyn Cone; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2018, at Restlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Comer officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
