A woman died in her vehicle while parked at the CVS on Roanoke Road Sunday.

The woman, identified in a police report as Elizabeth Landry, appears to have died a natural death, according to Sgt. Robert Kirby with the LaGrange Police Department.

Many passersby drove past the scene, causing speculation on social media.

“I don’t know where that’s coming from,” Kirby said. “There was nothing to it as far as a crime being committed.”

The police report said officers responded to the scene at 8:09 p.m. When they arrived, the woman was not breathing.

The CVS manager pulled security footage, which showed Landry’s car pull in at 11:36 a.m., and she is not seen exiting the vehicle, according to the report.
