The celebration of life service for Mrs. Amanda Mae Cotton of LaGrange will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Church of the King at 911 Murphy Avenue. Apostle Dr. Hope Taylor, Pastor,  Apostle C.M. Chivers, will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, her husband of 59 years, Sammy Lee Cotton; children, Samuel V. Cotton (Lera), Jeffery I. Cotton (Monica), Vanessa D. Birdsong (Joe Henry), Lawanda A. Cotton, Antonyetta R. Cotton (Lewis), Monte V. Brown (David); one step-daughter, Linda G. Mitchell; nine grandchildren: Lashika Birdsong, Katie Birdsong, Cordero Cotton, Gregory Griggs, Jestin Cotton, Samantha Cotton, Kwame Brown, Kelsey Cotton, Kenyetta Cotton and seven adorable great grandchildren; two sisters: Myrtis Patterson and Anne Harper (Cain); one brother, Forest Patterson (Elaine); nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will be at their home at 117 Timothy Street.

Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
