On Tuesday, Oct. 2, neighborhoods throughout LaGrange are invited to come together with thousands of communities nationwide for the “35th Annual National Night Out” (NNO) crime and drug prevention event. 

• National Night Out is designed to: 
• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness 
• Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime efforts
• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships
• Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and standing to fight back against crime.

From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 2, the LaGrange Police Department, along with other volunteers from the public safety community, community organizations and businesses will come together to celebrate at; 110 Commerce Ave (the Beechwood Furniture lot). There will be items given away, along with many fun activities for all ages to enjoy. 

LaGrange Police Department would like to request the community’s assistance with this event by making a donation of: 

• A product from your business
• Volunteer time 
• Services or other financial support, to assist with this large scale event 

All sponsors will be recognized throughout the event.
