A man was arrested after punching another person and robbing him at gun point at the intersection of Wisteria Way and Camellia Drive Saturday at 7 a.m. According to a LaGrange Police Department press release, the victim told police he and acquaintance Cody Potts got into an argument when Potts punched him.

The victim told police when he attempted to flee, Potts brandished a small handgun and demanded the victim’s possessions. According to the press release, an undisclosed amount of money, a cell phone, hat and shoes were taken from the victim.

LaGrange Police detectives tracked Potts to a location in West Point where he was then arrested. According to the press release, Potts is charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault.
