The Thursday Lunch Club met on Aug. 2, in the Fellowship Hall of the LaGrange First United Methodist Church. 

There were 95 people in attendance. 

The tables were decorated by the Lydia Women’s Circles of the LaGrange First UMC. 

This month Your Pie on Bull Street donated five gift certificates. Winners of the gift certificates were Shirley Andrews, Helen Baker, Mary Formby, Betty Lester and Carolyn Shaddix.  

Linda Frano, a TLC committee member, introduced the program featuring Kevin Dunn. Dunn is the recent recipient of the WellStar Volunteer of the Year. 

Those in attendance were treated a perfromance by Dunn. He sang an A cappella arrangement of spiritual and patriotic songs.  

The next meeting of TLC will be Thursday Sept. 6 in the Fellowship Hall of the LaGrange First United Methodist Church.
