Donald Richard Jenkins passed away on Aug. 15, 2018, at the age of 89.

He was born June 3, 1929, in Elyria, Ohio. He met and later married his wife, June. Donald joined the Army in June of 1952 and was stationed at Fort Benning in Georgia. He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper until 1955. Don and June then moved to LaGrange, Georgia, where he became a real estate broker and home builder. In 2014, they moved to Dothan, Alabama.

Don is survived by his wife of 65 years, June; four daughters, Donna (Steve Dossey), Theresa Hartz (John Rasmussen), Clarice (Geoff Gibson), and Toni (Paul Schenkman); three granddaughters, Alexandria Dossey, Jennifer (Tom Littlefield), and Kelly (Chris Johnson); and two great-grandsons, Lucas and Wynn Littlefield.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at 11 a.m. EST at Restlawn Memory Garden, 2098 Mooty Bridge Road in LaGrange, Georgia.
