Cynthia Demerice Phillips “Cindy” Burnham, of LaGrange, passed away on Aug. 22, 2018, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. She was born on Dec. 15, 1949, to the late Garland Brown Phillips and Thelma Louise Christopher Phillips of LaGrange.

She was a faithful member of Unity Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was an active member and secretary and treasurer of the Current Mission Group.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, James Cameron “Cam” Burnham; sisters, Barbara Gray, Delores Middlebrooks. 

Survivors include her husband, James Burnham; daughter, Jamie Paul (Nate); brother, Gene Phillips, Jack Phillips; sister, Patricia Brister; grandchildren, Lily Paul; extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at the Unity Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Bingham and the Rev. Brian Shuler officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the WellStar West Georgia Hospice or Unity Baptist Church.
