Mr. Chester Lee Brown,  85, of LaGrange passed away Tuesday at Twin Fountains Home. Mr. Brown was born July 31, 1933, in Randolph County, Alabama, the son of the late Bernice and Mrs. Mary Fowler Brown. He was retired from the Kex and Unity Plants of Milliken and Company having been a previous employee of Callaway Mills Company. Chester was a United States Air Force Veteran. Mr. Brown was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Wade Brown in April 2016.  

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Mark Geiger of Valley, Alabama; son, Steven Brown of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Haley, Brittany, Jacob and Christi; five great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Chester Lee Brown will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday from the Meadoway Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Greathouse officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday afternoon from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. prior to the funeral hour.
