Lois Davenport passed away Friday.

She was born April 20, 1936, to the late Minnie Sherman and Fisk Davenport in Harris County, Georgia.

She was educated in the Harris County Chipley School System. Lois joined Roe’s Chapel; and later the Light House Church in Hogansville, Georgia. Upon her relocation, she united under watch care with the New Beginnings Christian Ministries in Stockbridge, Georgia.

Survivors include her son, David Davenport Sr.; daughter, Iomie Kendrick; seven grandchildren; brother, Frank Sherman; sisters-in-law, Mary Knight, Evelyn Sherman, Johanna Williams, Sarah Silver; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Roe’s Chapel.
