They’ve got their bats working.

The Troup Lady Tigers have struggled at times this season, and they endured a nine-game losing streak at one point.

As the regular season winds down, though, Troup has rediscovered the winning formula, and a productive offense is a big season why.

In its past four games, including Monday’s 13-4 victory over Hardaway, Troup has scored 52 runs.

Troup (8-16) will look to keep the offensive momentum going in today’s road game against Callaway before the start of the Region 5-AAAA playoffs next week.

In Monday’s game against Hardaway, seniors Kayla Lane and Madison McCartney were recognized before the game.

Troup then went out thumped Hardaway 13-4 to win for the third time in four games.

Lane did her part with a triple and an RBI, and she scored three runs.

McCartney didn’t have any hits, but she walked twice and had two RBIs.

Avery Pearson a triple and a double with two RBIs and three runs scored, and Casey Sani had a hit and an RBI.

Morgan Watkins had two RBIs, Olivia McInvale, Tashuana Askew and Emilee Johnson each had a hit, and Lexi Parker scored two runs.

Makenzie Miller started and pitched four innings, and Pearson threw the fifth and final inning.

Troup finishes the regular season with today’s game at Callaway.

Troup will likely be the sixth seed for next week’s Region 5-AAAA tournament.
