Mrs. Edna Mae Kirk Norton, age 88, of LaGrange, made her heavenly trip on Sept. 26, 2018, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.  

Mrs. Norton was preceded in death by her parents, Robert George Kirk and Odessa Woods Kirk; her husband, Ernest Paul Norton; son, Spencer Lee Butler; grandson, Billy Joe Butler; and great grandson, Kevin Lee Jones. Survivors include her sons, Lowell Thomas Butler (Cheryl), Jimmy Mahlon Butler and Ernest Lee Norton (Terrie); daughter, Myra Runell Hutter; 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family.  

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with the Rev. Joel Scott and the Rev. Jim Butler officiating. Interment to follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
