Mary Joyce Allison Scott, 80, of LaGrange, Georgia, was beckoned into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, from her home.

Mrs. Scott was born June 26, 1938, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Amon Bryant Allison and Letha Lee Bryant Allison. She was a member of East LaGrange Baptist Church and owned and operated Style and Set Beauty Salon for more than 50 years, working beside her daughter for the last 38 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Curtis Leon Scott.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Radney Houze; her loving and faithful caregivers, Barrie Huling, Gayle Studdard and Yolanda Sanders; many cousins and special friends, Jesse and Marie Boyd.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to St. Jude’s or Alzheimer’s Research in memory of Mary Joyce Scott.
