Mrs. Frankie Ventora Williams Mickle, age 81, of West Point, passed away on Oct. 1, 2018, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.  Mrs. Mickle was born on Feb. 7, 1937, in Heard County, to the late Willie Williams and Bessie Pearce Veal.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie “Sam” Mickle, and a brother, Elvin “Punk” Williams. Survivors include her son, Ronnie Lee Mickle (Deborah Jean); daughter, Brenda Diane Cofield; brother, Eddie Veal (Joyce); sister, Elaine Shelnutt; six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.  

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at 4 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy McLeroy and the Rev. Jim Butler officiating.  Interment to follow at Meadow Gardens. Family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until service hour.
