Funeral services for Lillian Rozelle Cox Weathers, age 96, of Rock Mills, will be held on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at 2 p.m. from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Bro. Keith Benefield officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018.

Mrs. Weathers passed away on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at her home.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Weathers (Connie) of Norcross, Georgia, and Randy Weathers of Rock Mills; six grandchildren, Michael M. Weathers (Stefanie) of Loganville, Georgia, Donna J. Weathers of Norcross, Georgia, Wendy M. Weathers of Norcross, Georgia, Misty Weathers of LaGrange, Georgia, Kayla Weathers of Rock Mills, Jessie J Weathers of Virginia; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Weathers was born on Aug. 7, 1922, the daughter of Lorenzo Cox and Florence Williams Cox. She was a member of Rock Mills United Methodist Church and lived in Rock Mills for the past 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, LaFate Lanier Weathers; one son, Donald R. Weathers; one daughter-in-law, Debra Weathers; two sisters, Varnice Brown Johnson and Velma Pope.
