WEST POINT — Per Postmaster Autumn Templeton, the West Point Post office will be closed Thursday, Oct. 11 due to weather conditions brought on by Hurricane Michael.

Templeton said that the plant in Macon responsible for processing mail will be evacuated for the storm. No one will be at the post office and there will be no one to bring in or deliver papers for the entirety of Thursday.
