Dr. Richard Ingram talks about Marquis de Lafayette at TLC

The Thursday Lunch Club met on Oct. 4, in the Fellowship Hall of the LaGrange First United Methodist Church. There were 124 people in attendance. 

The tables were decorated by the Hannah and Ester Circles of the LaGrange FUMC. Door prizes were provided by Nita Overall, compliments of LaGrange Eye Clinic. Winners of the fall gift bags were Oleeta Aspinwall, Beverly Bartley, Linda Bryant and Dusty McDaniel.

TLC Chair Joyce Morgan Young introduced Dr. Richard Ingram who educated attendees on the Marquis de Lafayette. He was accompanied on the piano by accomplished pianist James Camp who played compositions that correlated to the places and time in history. Katherine Mathews presented a slide show of the main characters in the presentation.

The next meeting of TLC will be Thursday Nov. 1 in the Fellowship Hall of the LaGrange FUMC. The Dulcimer Troupers will entertain attendees.
