Troup High’s volleyball team won a thriller in the first round of the Class AAAA state tournament.

Facing North Oconee, Troup won in five sets to advance to the round of 16 for the second time in three years.

Troup won the first set 25-20, but North Oconee won the next two sets 25-18 and 25-16.

Troup evened the match by winning the fourth set 25-13, and it won the fifth and final set 17-15.
