The Magnolia Society, the United Way of West Georgia Women’s Leadership Council, is hosting LaGrange Has Talent to raise money for local early learning programs for kindergarten readiness.

The proceeds of “LaGrange Has Talent” will benefit local early learning programs like BLOCKS, or Babies Learning on Course for Kindergarten Success.

“Raising funds to support early learning resources and programs is important because focusing on giving the youngest children in the community what they need to develop mentally, physically, socially and emotionally is such an effective way to prevent so many issues that are a struggle for our community, state, and nation,” said BLOCKS Co-Creator Meredith Key. “Imagine if we had an entire generation of children who started kindergarten ready to learn. Then imagine if the same could be said for every generation after them. We could move mountains.”

“The talent that will be showcased in LaGrange Has Talent this year is phenomenal. This is such an exciting fundraiser to be a part of because everyone in the community can participate or attend,” said Stage Manager and Judge Committee Chair Melissa Miller.

“We are proud to showcase the talent in our community, and to share the joy of giving with everyone who comes to the website to vote, and attends the final show.”
