LaGrange man killed in head-on collision in Macon County

A LaGrange man was killed in a head-on collision Saturday in Macon County on State Route 128. According to Georgia State Patrol, Corbin Davis, 29, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Todd Hannah, 52, of Atlanta.

Davis and Hannah were traveling southbound at 2 p.m. when a vehicle going northbound crossed the center line and struck them head-on.  According to GSP, Davis and Hannah were not wearing seatbelts, and Davis died at the scene.

Hannah was airlifted to a Macon hospital and later succumbed to his injuries there.

According to GSP, 41-year-old Joshua Parkerson, of Atlanta, was charged with DUI alcohol, two counts of first-degree homicide by vehicle, failure to maintain lane and use of safety belts in passenger vehicle.

According to his obituary, Davis is survived by his wife, Dr. Hillary Kerr Davis; an unborn child; his parents, Scot and Lisa Stanfield Davis of Roanoke; one sister, Callie Baldwin (Nick) of Roanoke; and one nephew, Riley Camp Baldwin of Roanoke.
