Mr. Willie Harvey “Bo” Wilson, Jr., age 80, of LaGrange, passed away on Nov. 6, 2018, at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Wilson was born on Oct. 23, 1938, in Troup County to the late Willie Harvey Wilson, Sr. and Frances Elizabeth Benefield Wilson.

Mr. Wilson served on the City of LaGrange Fire Department for more than 33 years. 

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Addie “Lucy” Wilson; sons, Eddie Wilson (Shelley) and Lamar Wilson (Sheila); daughter, Susan Lewis (Dave); sister, Helen Wright; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren with one on the way; two step grandchildren and one step great grandchild. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Wright and Barbara Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church. Family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 11 a.m. until service hour with Pastor Michael Hornsby officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
