Mr. Rickey E. Childs, 62, of LaGrange passed away Saturday morning at WellStar West Georgia Hospice. 

Rickey was born Dec. 9, 1955, in LaGrange the son of the late Gene and Betty Mann Childs. Mr. Childs retired from Kimberly Clark as a process technician having 32 years of service. Rickey had many passions, most especially taking care of his wife,  Alabama Crimson Tide football and fishing. He was a former member and past president of West Georgia Team Bass Club.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bobbie Childs of LaGrange; sons and daughter-in-laws, Corey (Amy) Childs of Daytona Beach, Florida; Chris (Desiree) Childs of Gainesville, Georgia; four grandchildren, Courtland, Carley, Christen and Maddison; two sisters, Clara Cooley of LaGrange, Rachel (Brian) Folds of LaGrange.
