Many local offices will be closed for Thanksgiving, including local governments offices.

The City of LaGrange will be closed for business Nov. 22 and 23 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The City of LaGrange’s police and fire services will remain open. Holiday garbage and recycling pick up will be delayed by one day. Residents who normally receive garbage and recycling pickup on Thursdays will have pickup on Friday, Nov. 23.

The City of Hogansville will also be closed for business on Thursday and Friday for the holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday. The Hogansville Police Department will remain open for the holiday.

The City of West Point will be closed on Thursday and Friday. Bi-weekly recycle pickup on the West side of the river and north of East 10th Street will take place on Friday instead of Thursday.

In Troup County, all convenience centers will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22. They will reopen on Friday. The Troup County Government Center will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
