Vivian Addie Burdette, 96, of LaGrange, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 19, 2018.

Mrs. Burdette was born April 21, 1922 in Roanoke, Alabama to the late Benjamin Allen Hester and Lula Jane Duke Hester.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Robert Stanley Burdette.

She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie (Russty) Parrish of Greenville, Alabama, Patsy (Norman) Wynne of LaGrange, Georgia; son, Benny (Mary) Burdette of Hamilton, Georgia; grandchildren, Ley (Becky) Wynne of LaGrange, Georgia, Dodd (Brittany) Wynne of LaGrange, Georgia, Chris (Lucy) Wynne of LaGrange, Georgia, Benjamin (Kolbi) Burdette of Ellerslie, Georgia, Bryan Parrish of Greenville, Alabama, Jonathan Burdette of Grafenwoer, Germany and Caitlyn Burdette of Hamilton, Georgia; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Fay Bennett of Wadley, Alabama.

A gathering of family and rriends will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, Georgia. The celebration of life will begin at 2 p.m. A private burial will follow the service.
