The LaGrange Mall will launch Santa’s Village, a new Santa feature that opened on Nov. 23.

Santa’s Village will be in center court and features a new area for families to have their picture taken with Santa, along with interactive stations featuring activities for children of all ages.

Children will find postcards to color and a red mailbox where they can mail their letters to Santa directly to the North Pole.

There will also be an “Elfie Station” where visitors can take additional photos with elves and post their photos on Facebook for the chance to be the featured “Elfie of the Week.”

Santa’s Village will also host “Stories with Santa” throughout the Christmas season at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 1, 5, 15 and 19. During story time, families can go to the village to hear Christmas stories, such as “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer” and “The Night Before Christmas.”

“So many families come to the LaGrange Mall for their Christmas shopping and we wanted to provide the community with a fun new Santa experience this holiday season,” said Coles Doyle, marketing director for Hull Property Group. “The new photo area and activities are great for children of all ages and we are excited for everyone to visit Santa’s Village this Christmas.”

Santa’s Village is open though Christmas Eve.

Photos with Santa are available Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
