The LaGrange Police Department will host a blood drive through the American Red Cross on Friday, Dec. 7.

The public is invited to participate.

Walk-ins are welcome.

Visitors can schedule appointments to help staff prepare.

The blood drive will take place in the Troup County Government Center Jury Assembly Room at 100 Ridley Avenue in LaGrange.

Donations can be streamlined by visiting Redcrossblood.org/rapidpass to complete pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of  appointments.

The American Red Cross is the nation’s largest blood collection organization, supplying approximately 40 percent of the blood and blood products used in our country.
