Christmas on the Hill is returning to LaGrange College from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday on the school’s patio and library plaza.

Santa and his live reindeer will be there, as well as food vendors selling pizza, funnel cakes and holiday nuts.

Ryan Cook, associate dean of campus life, said the event will include traditional activities such as holiday crafts and games.

“We’ll have crafts like ornament, stocking and snow globe decorating, cookie decorating and letters to Santa,” Cook said. “There will also be games and Santa Sumo.”

Something new this year will be a holiday train running around the academic quad, Cook said.

Caroling and a tree lighting ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m.

Admission is free, but a donation of $5 or canned food products is suggested, Cook said.

The food will benefit Our Daily Bread soup kitchen, which was created and maintained by LaGrange College students.
