James “Tommy” Lambert

James “Tommy” Lambert, 70, of LaGrange, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018.

Mr. Lambert was born Nov. 23, 1948, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late James Easton Lambert and Lura Nell Sutton Lambert.

He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Lambert loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar, vacationing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tabitha Ann Lambert.

He is survived by his lovely wife of 47 years, Charlene Rose Lambert; daughters, Kelly (Keith) Wells and Sarah (Lance) Lehman; sons, Kris (Melanie) Lambert and William Lambert; grandchildren, Andrew and Maddie Wells, Maggie, Gracie and Carolyn Lehman, Connor James and Harrison Lambert; sisters, Ruby Nell Lambert (John) Thompson and Kathleen (Michael) McCullough; guitar buddy, Gary; several nieces, nephews and close friends.

The rosary, along with a gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church in LaGrange, Georgia. The celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
