Funeral services for Kaycee Irene Veal Gilmore, age 45, of Woodland, will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at 2 p.m. CST at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Karen Korb officiating. Burial will follow at Midway United Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. CST on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018. Mrs. Gilmore passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, Adam Gilmore of Woodland; two sons, Blake Gilmore (wife, Kana) of Rock Mills and Nick Gilmore of Woodland; two grandchildren, Adalyn and Braxton; her parents; Virgil and Alice Veal of Roanoke; her paternal grandmother, Udine Veal of Roanoke; and two brothers, Clint Veal and Clay Veal, both of Roanoke.

A Roanoke native, Mrs. Gilmore was born on Oct. 21, 1973, the daughter of Virgil and Alice Crockett Veal.  She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church and worked as an LPN at the Woodland Family Clinic and as a respiratory therapist at Anniston Health and Sick Room Supplies.
