Mrs. Jacquelyn I. Dollar, 94, of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, and a former resident of LaGrange passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at Hope Arbor in Murrells Inlet. Mrs. Dollar was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Langdale, Alabama, the daughter of the late Clarence and Stella Morris Jones. Jacquelyn was a homemaker and former member of Dixie United Methodist Church. Mrs. Dollar was the widow of the late James Otis Dollar Sr.
Survivors include her son, James Dollar Jr and daughter-in-law, Gayle Way Dollar of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, granddaughter Lauren Tapp (Jamie) and great grandchildren Ella Tapp and Welton Tapp of Columbia, S.C.
Cryptside services for Mrs. Jacquelyn I. Dollar will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Shadowlawn Mausoleum with the Rev. Doug Bingham officiating. Entombment will follow in the family crypt. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Mrs. Jacquelyn I. Dollar. Funeral Services for Mrs. Jacquelyn I.
