Mrs. Eula Mae Matheny Bowen passed away on Dec. 14, 2018 at the Twin Fountains Home. Mrs. Bowen was born on Jan. 28, 1931, in LaGrange to the late John Thomas Matheny and Mary Frances Potts Matheny. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Bowen; son, Curtis Bowen, Jr.; brother, Thomas Matheny; sisters, Evelyn Frances Thomas and Erma Lee Thrower.  Survivors include her sisters, Bernice Bannister, Nellie Poppham and Corene Usher; nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.  

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Old Pathway Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
