LPD arrests man with drugs, gun

A LaGrange man was arrested after 16 grams of packaged cocaine and two guns were found in his residence on the 400 block of South Lee Street Wednesday around 11:20 a.m. 

According to a LaGrange Police Department press release, the special investigations unit executed a search unit warrant on Reginald Bell’s residence.

According to the press release, in addition to the crack cocaine found, officers also found a loaded Smith & Wesson 5.56 mm rifle and a loaded Draco 7.62 mm AK47 rifle. 

Bell is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a drug related objects, possession of a firearm by a first offender probationer and possession of a firearm during certain crimes.
