Glenda Huber Storey, 78, of Pine Mountain, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018.

Mrs. Storey was born Sept. 17, 1940, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late William Homer Huber and Thelma Mae Davis Huber. She enjoyed music and playing piano, which she did for many years in various churches. She was an avid tennis player and a certified tennis instructor and a USTA life-long member.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Huber; sister, Norma Carlson and nephew, Jeff Cox. She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Alton Eugene Storey; sons, Glenn (Susan) Storey of Roanoke, Alabama, and Gary (Tammy) Storey of Sharpsburg, Georgia; grandchildren, Laurel Storey, Carson Storey and Gracie Storey; sister, Janyth Davis and sister-in-law, Joy Rowley.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m .in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, Georgia. The celebration of life will begin at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Meadow Way Memory Gardens in LaGrange, Georgia.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at Fightcf.cff.org/give in memory of Jeff Cox.
