No injuries were reported after an armed robbery occurred at Jeff’s Outlet Store on Sage Commercial Drive Thursday morning.

According to LaGrange Police Department press release, officers were called to the scene around 2:43 a.m. where the victim told the officers that, in the process of locking the front door, two suspects forced themselves into the store.

“As [the business was] letting some of the patrons out of the store, two young black males wearing masks appeared from behind the building, came inside, presented at least one firearm and demanded that the clerk turn over any money that they had,” LPD Sgt. William Nelson said. “They did at that time obtain U.S. currency and left running toward Lukken Industrial Drive.”
