Mr. Julious E. Reaves, age 82, of LaGrange, passed away on Jan. 2, 2019, at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.  Reaves was born on May 29, 1936, in Randolph County, Alabama to the late Travis Reeves and Velma Gaston Reeves.  He faithfully served his country for three years in the United States Army followed by 20 years in the United States Navy.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Travis Reeves, Glen Reeves and Runette Robinson.  Survivors include his wife, Jane Ann Ayers Reaves; his sons, Michael Dwayne Reaves and his wife Debra and Gregory Alan Reaves; sisters, Ann Gonzales, Inez Colbert and her husband John and Helen White; grandson, Todd Alan Reaves and his wife Lindsay; extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with Pastor Paul Botica officiating.  Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens.  Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
