Wilma Irene Kemp Beck formerly of LaGrange, Georgia, died on Jan. 5, 2019 at the Union General Hospital in Blairsville, Georgia following an recent illness. Wilma was born on Dec. 16, 1919, in Carroll County, Georgia, to the late H.H. and Ada Eugenia (Gena) Lovvorn Kemp. She was married to the late Richard D. Beck Sr. and was long time member of Cedarcrest Community Church in LaGrange, Georgia. Mrs. Beck is survived by her son, Doug Beck (Kathy) of Blue Ridge, Georgia, grandson, Joel Beck (Jenny) and great-grandchildren, Zack and Anna all of Lawrenceville, Georgia; grandson, Kyle Ray (Melissa) and great grandchildren, Lauren, Houston and Keaton of Charlotte, North Carolina, brother, H.J. Kemp of Ranburne, Alabama; and other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. There will be a graveside service to be held on Tuesday Jan. 8, 2019, at 1 p.m. from the Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, Georgia. In lieu of flowers if you wish, donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Wilma Beck to Cedarcrest Community Church, 2380 Roanoke Rd. LaGrange, GA. 30240.
