Veola Buggs passed away Sunday.

She was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Coweta County, Georgia to the late Frankie Lee Asbury and J. C. Nelson.

Mrs. Buggs attended East Depot High School, WG Tech, and was employed by Covan Company and CAFI Headstart.

She was a faithful member of New Beginning Baptist Church.

She is survived by three children, Quinton Lamar (Delores) Buggs, Teresa (Willie) Andrews, and Janice (William) Lovelace; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Alton Williams and Cecil Williams; a very special friend, Mary Dukes; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Warren Temple UM Church.

The family will be at their home at 107 Clearwater Drive.

The excellent care of Mrs. Buggs is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
