The City of LaGrange will be closed for business Jan. 21 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

All garbage and recycling pickup days will be pushed back by one day. If your regular pickup day is Monday, it will be Tuesday this holiday week. Regular pickup on Wednesdays will be Thursday and regular pickup on Thursdays will be Friday. There are usually no pickups on Friday.

The City of LaGrange police and fire services will remain open.

Citizens are reminded to leave trash bins out the night before scheduled pickup or at least by 7 a.m. Leave bins out until 5:30 p.m.  Citizens are also reminded there is a limit of four cubic yards of yard trimming pickup allowed at a time. That is roughly the size of a refrigerator on its side. This allows for the crews to complete their pickup route on time. Crews are available to provide back door service for the elderly or disabled.
