The LaGrange Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on Adamson Street on Thursday night.

The LPD responded to the scene at approximately 11:39 p.m., and located a victim, who had been shot in the left upper thigh and right shoulder.

According to a LPD press release, victim told police that an unknown person in a dark truck or SUV approached him and began shooting at him. The victim said he was struck twice during the gunfire.

The victim was transported to a hospital in Columbus for treatment. He was listed in stable condition Friday morning, according to the LPD.
