A man is wanted for aggravated assault after swinging a knife at a woman Wednesday at the 1000 block of East Baldwin Street.

According to a LaGrange Police Department press release, officers responded to a call around 12:30 a.m. about an aggravated assault.

The victim told police that Derrick Mitchell swung a knife multiple times at her and threatened to kill her. The victim said she was able to flee the residence and call police.
