Mrs. Elmira McClain, age 93, of 903 S. Ogletree Street, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at her home. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, she was born Feb. 21, 1925, to the late Judy Boddie Potts and Edward Potts.  She attended public schools in Birmingham and after locating to LaGrange, Georgia, she was a graduate of East Depot High School.  Mrs. McClain was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.  She loved the Lord and she was a faithful church worker.  She held employment as a caterer.  Survivors include a son, George Busby Jr.; grandson, James Edward Shivers; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Potts Smith; nieces, Katrina Carrington and Minister Drusilla Smith, and several other relatives and friends.  Funeral services for Mrs. Elmira McClain will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.  The Rev.
